As the Costa Concordia is finally set upright my emotions about the event begin to culminate. I have been on a Costa ship and enjoy many cruises as the highlight of my family's typical vacation. Since I have been on many successful cruises whenever I step onto another ship I very rarely think of what could possibly happen. Just in the past year I was on two different Norwegian Cruise-liner ships. One of which was my first with just friends and not family. The events that led to this devastation are quite horrific as the final conclusion reveals so many tragedies. Although it is nice to finally have the boat upright, that doesn't change much of the past few years of the lives of those affected. I'm not sure how this will make me think twice about another ship trip, but I know it will and has changed many others minds about their next vacation. Leave a Reply. |
