This quote made me smile. After reading a page and a half of devastating quotes dealing with slavery, death, financial crisis, and disease it is comforting to see positivity in the world. It is encouraging to see countries and people working through problems without quickly resorting to violence. I hope to see this trend continue with Iran and the United States and hopefully it will begin to permeate to other parts of the world as well. 2/18/2014 11:59:21 am
I totally agree on this quote. War and sanction make all players worth off comparing to cooperation. Yet it is true that even though nearly everyone knows it, states still get involved in conflicts and cause damages. Word doesn't counts, action does. But saying things like this is still better than saying nothing. It is a signal for negotiation. I am so glad that in the past few months after this quote being said, the nuclear negotiation took great progresses. And I hope that things with Iran will continue going towards the good side.
