It's interesting that they are talking about how focused they are on recruiting volunteers. This came from an article about how NC democrats are working to make up for the turnover in party leadership, but I think it's kind of weird that Hagan's campaign's response to losing a major leader is to reach out to volunteers. Maybe this just wasn't included in the article, but what about her actual campaign? What about her reasons for wanting to be reelected and her plans? Instead of emphasizing that, the campaign announces it needs help. Interesting move to me.

This seems like a pretty bold statement. What impact will volunteers ultimately have on democratic leadership turnover? How will her campaign benefit from increased volunteer presence? This quote seems like a bit of political fluff, dodging the real issue at hand.
